Dr. Tasha Brooks is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at Royal Roads University, where she teaches in the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Economic Development and the Bachelor of Business Administration programs. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration, a Professional Aboriginal Economic Development (PAED) certificate, and a certificate in Leading People and Building Sustainable Communities from Harvard Kennedy School.

Tasha is an elected Councillor with Cowichan Tribes, serving on the Education, Human Resources, Economic Development, and Finance and Audit Committees. She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Aboriginal Economic Development, contributing to the advancement of Indigenous economic thought and practice.
